Good quality, delivery needs work

I ordered the Earth Backpack and was pretty impressed with the quality. The organic cotton feels really durable and the GOTS certification is a big plus for me. It's exactly what I needed for daily commuting. However, shipping took 8 days to get to my place in Seattle, which felt a bit slow, even with standard shipping. Customer service was responsive when I inquired about the tracking, so that was good. Overall, I'd shop here again, but maybe for non-urgent items.

Love my new Tote Bag!

Are their bags waterproof at all? Or at least water-resistant for light rain?

They're not waterproof, no. It's canvas, so it would get soaked in heavy rain. For light drizzle, it might be okay for a bit, but I wouldn't trust it with electronics.

Nah, definitely not waterproof. I wouldn't take it out in a downpour without putting my laptop in a dry bag inside it.

Does anyone know if their stuff is actually made ethically? I've seen a lot of brands claim 'sustainable' but then they just use sweatshops.

They're Fair Trade Certified, that means the factories are checked out for fair wages and working conditions. So yeah, legit on that front.

Is Terra Thread a good alternative to like, Patagonia or Fjallraven? Their bags look similar but seem more eco-friendly.

Definitely. If you're into the sustainability aspect, they beat Patagonia on that for sure since they're 100% organic cotton and Fair Trade. Style is a bit different, more minimalist I'd say.

I like them better than Fjallraven personally because of the materials. My Terra Thread backpack feels sturdier than a Kanken. Plus, supporting a smaller, really ethical brand feels better.
